Interfacing with clubs, ECO’s university partners, and the student body, the Communications Team enhances collaboration and communication on campus environmental issues. Responsible for maintaining a unified vision for campus sustainability, they are constantly developing new ways to meet the needs of our constituents.
With an emphasis on organization and public outreach, this role is well-suited to those interested in exploring different sectors of campus, and working with people. -
Tasked with orchestrating events like ECOFest and the Cornell Sustainability Awards, the Event Planning team creates spaces that bring our community together. From booking venues to overseeing event logistics, they are responsible for organizing all ECO-hosted events, and ones co-sponsored by our partners.
If you’re passionate about creating memorable experiences, and bringing people together for a common cause, this is the role for you!

Despite working behind-the-scenes, our Finance team is at the fore-front of ECO! Managing our grant program, they fund dozens of student events every year. Furthermore, by dictating the budget, managing funding channels, and cutting down on costs, they keep ECO (financially) sustainable!
Involved with every function of our organization, their efforts enable us to provide high-quality service all year-round. -
As the mouthpiece of ECO, the Social Media & Marketing team promotes the latest in campus sustainability! Partnering with our members, they advertise environmental news, events, and career opportunities across Cornell. Managing our weekly Newsletter and Social Media outlets, marketers work tirelessly to maintain ECO’s brand, and amplify student voices.
Working closely with the Communications Subteam, this role is perfect for those interested in marketing strategy and branding, offering a chance to develop skills in both areas while driving ECO’s mission forward.
